postcards from sarasota

We've spent most of our time so far by the pool,

though there have also been bike rides

and cupcakes (which, frankly, we ate by the pool).

The bad news is that my master plan, in which my mother cooks all my meals while I'm Florida, is not going according to master plan, so at this point we're subsisting mostly on Chipotle. Soon, though, I will leave the side of the pool and enter the kitchen. Tuesday, maybe.

  4. It was NOT as good as a my little cupcake cupcake. It was over frosted and had huge crunchy sprinkles on it and not in a good way!

Also, I thought i was supposed to get photo credit for the Peanut photo. I was, afterall, in the pool taking the photos!

  5. Mojie's right, that cupcake was no My Little Cupcake. Too big and overfrosted, though I liked the crunchy sprinkles.

Here's the photo Mojie gets credit for:

    I get photo edit credit.

  6. So, when one says, "I lead a dog's life", we should be suspicious about the need for empathy?

  8. FOR GOD'S SAKE! Get that dog a Mai Tai, sun hat, and Harlequin romance!! And you may want to throw in a hunky pool boy for viewing pleasure.

  9. Is that pool boy for the dog's viewing pleasure, Challah, or for yours?

The cupcakes were from a farmers market, MLC; I'm holding out for your cupcake bakery.
