I have been intending to extend a very warm HaPpY NeW YeAr to you and yours... so, when I saw a boy with a bag of Funyuns on the street today and then came home to a crossword puzzle that requested "gruel" as the answer to 30-down, I knew today was the day! Those are not even subtle signs that I waited too long. You should also have no doubt that I took that boy out and enjoyed a Funyun treat with my cup of coffee and crossword. Hope you and the Yachtsman rang in the new year in style.
ReplyDeleteI hope your resolutions include having less shame for wearing your Couch Jedi outfit in public, as I just attended an Arkansan wedding in which the grandmother of the bride wore fleece from head to toe. (Do you forgive me for thinking of you?)

ReplyDeleteI just wrapped up the last of the Twilight Books (how's that for holiday reading?); I don't know what to say about it, other than that I'm experiencing a sense of freedom that I haven't felt since I started the darn things a couple of weeks ago. No longer will the eyes of any of the characters stare, glare, glower, flicker, or smolder...Well, maybe I'll check out the movies, you know, just to see how they compare...
