i've found my muse

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I have not been spending my days lately working on The Thing. I have not even been spending my days lately workin' for the man.

How have I been spending my days lately? Holding little photo sessions with hard boiled eggs, of course.

Why? Because I've lost my mind hard boiled eggs are very photogenic.

  1. That last picture is beautiful! How did you cook that egg so exactly perfectly? Tell me EXACTLY please!!!

  2. My boyfriend Mark Bittman told me how. Poke a pinhole in the wide end of an egg, lower it into gently boiling water, and boil for 10-15 minutes (I err on the side of undercooking, around 11 minutes). Remove the egg from the boiling water and plunge into cold running water for 30 seconds, if you want to eat your egg warm, or 2 minutes, if you're going to refrigerate it for later.
