i've been trying this to mix things up: put in a blender: banana, yogurt, half chocolate milk, half skim milk, and a tablespoon of peanutbutter. blend. drink. yum.
ReplyDeleteOccassionally I have those moments with almonds as well. Usually it's when I bring them as my passenger/hostage on road trips. I think about them loathingly as I place each one in my mouth: "Dry, flavorless, sticky...." But then I contemplate stopping the repetitively soothing action and my mantra changes... "Delightfully dry, savoringly flavorless, remarkably sticky."
ReplyDeleteThat does sound delicious, Q_Monroe. And I've been wanting to try that Strafford Creamery chocolate milk. I had their coffee ice cream last night and it was delicious. Oooh: Strafford Creamery chocolate ICE CREAM, a banana, and peanut butter in a blender: Happy Breakfast to me.
