literally, metaphorically

The service is going to be spotty around here for the next couple of weeks. You'll sit for hours before someone finally takes your order, your water won't be refilled, you'll ask for a glass of pink wine and receive a Shirley Temple instead.

All of which is to say, this week I'm busy, next week I'm on vacation. If not words, I'll try to post photos. For example, of the yachtsman's lunch.

Every day: turkey and Swiss on something white. Potato chips. A glass of OJ. If you think that's all kinda (literally) white bread, you should see the man on the dance floor.

  1. Ok GFD readers, WTF? Just because the Yachtsman lunch doesn't require hot nuts or some sort balsamic reduction, none of you people comment?

What you will find, is that this is the lunch of the most interesting man in the world. Stay hungry for turkey sandwiches my friends. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCT8x3YoT2s&feature=related

  3. And do you speak Russian, even in French? I think those folks might eat white bread too.

  4. Oh, that bread is white. And I do speak Russian. White Russian. Heavy on the Mexican Kahlua.

  5. Ok, let me be perfectly clear, that is not white bread. The Yachtsman is not in for white bread. He enjoys the best that nature has to offer, including these fresh loaves of O Bread Bakery Sesame Wheat.
