hypothetical question

Would a wedding be "ruined" if there was no wedding cake? Or would the lack of wedding cake (or in this hypothetical situation, wedding cupcakes) be a hilarious story to tell at the 50th anniversary party? "We didn't have dessert at our wedding, grandbabies, because your aunt Kate, who was supposed to bring the cupcakes, stayed home and ate them all."

Let me put it another way: I have 300 hypothetical cupcakes on my kitchen table right now and I am hypothetically considering opening a hypothetical box to have JUST ONE. Possibly two. Is that wrong? Hypothetically, of course.

  1. Take it easy on yourself. There's no way that can be wrong!

  2. If these are from My Little Cupcake, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with snagging a box, or two, or three.

  3. Actually, you may need to open ALL the boxes to figure out which ones are the salted caramel....

  4. In my experience, one turns to two to three etc. You should probably just take one of those big boxes, eat everything inside and pretend it never existed. No one is going to count the cupcakes, I promise!

  5. well, a decent human being would have given you your own little box of cupcakes and not put you in this hypothetical situation...please forgive me...this lack of sleep is impairing my cupcake manners.

  6. Seriously, poor MLC has only had 3 hours sleep combined in the last three nights. What are we going to do with her?!?!
